I was on the Ed Shultz show yesterday...

...and I suggest that anyone who has a chance to listen should do so. I'm in SC and I have to listen on the web but we should do what we can to support this uncommon resource. Also if and when you use products, services advertised on the show- let them know where you heard about it.

I think Kucinich is supposed to be a guest today and Begala and Carville were mentioned as guests for later in the week.

3. I was a caller and we talked about

the SC primaries. It was easy to get on the show as Ed is not screening calls (He's "keeping it real".). There is a link to the show on the opening page of DU (bottom left hand corner).

We should go out of our way to make sure we have a presence on radio- I'm certain that he is trying to sindicate nationally so when you make it on the air be sure to mention where you are from (screener failed to ask me) and it doesn't hurt to mention DU.

4. I saw an interview with Ed before the show went on the air

He came off as kind of a gasbag, touting his ability to "deliver the share" and talking about how he was a radio pro who knew what he was doing process-wise. There was barely a mention of policy or idealism or taking back the airwaves. Now that the show is up and running, does he still come off that way? That is, more concerned with share than content?

5. He is in "self-promotion mode"- like I said, I'm certain that he is

trying to sindicate so there will certainly be some of that. But it is a platform for our side and we should take advantage of any resource made available.
