My e-mail to Air America

To Whom It May Concern,

I am looking for any information or a contact regarding the Seattle WA. market.

The reason I would like this information is that I have been in the radio business on and off for the past 8 years and I have been looking for a liberal talk show to produce.

Right now in the Seattle market we have two (2) Right Wing talker, KTTH AM 770 and 570 KVI. I find it stunning that a so called liberal city like Seattle can carry no less then 2 conservative radio stations with nary a liberal rebuttable to be found. KIRO 710 AM comes somewhat close. They tend to straddle the line and do have one person who is left leaning that broadcasts from midnight to 5am.

Seattle is ripe and ready...we need Air America, we need liberal voices to combat the crap spewing from the RW talkers.

Any contact information or help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am a Canadian living here in America with my American wife, and we want nothing more then to help you take back a once proud country.

1. KIRO has two liberal hosts, and they aren't quite at the time you gave

They have Mike Webb weekdays - 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and Erin Hart weekends, 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

The guy they have on from 1:00 to 5:00 a.m. (Lou Pate) is not generally liberal, though he does support gay marriage. He's a Bush fan.

That said, I hope that Air America gets a Seattle presence!

2. Crap....

I guess I should get my info right..but I was essentially typing off the cuff.
My current job I have sucks, it is in radio.
The reason I mentioned KIRO was because of some of the times I had listened and I assumed (never assume I know)

Anyway I just hope they have something in the works, I sure would like to be involved.

4. Erin Hart has substituted on the later show from time to time

Maybe you heard her.

I recommend that you give both a listen; they are pretty good and their ratings have both been skyrocketing. Additionally, I recommend that you start rooting for the Red Wings instead of the Leafs!! (just kidding on that one; at least you're a hockey fan.)

7. The 1997 Cup was the first one I ever saw Detroit win

in my entire LIFE! The Yankees have won almost 25% of all World Series ever. 10 years is a drought for them!

I know Detroit has, and spends, a lot of money now, but they had some pretty lean years. They also find, and draft relative unknowns like Datsyuk and Zetterberg.

Look me up at playoff time! I think that Jillian's gets the hockey Center Ice package. I have some friends who like to watch the hockey playoffs.

Maybe I'll send the general one the same email...I just figured if their syndication department saw some interest from Seattle it might tweak them. Although I am sure(I hope) that they have plans for further expansion after the initial launch.
