Stossel Alert! 20/20 Special Tonite:"Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity."
Ahh, consumer "watchdog" and legendary Republican and Corporate Interests apologist John Stossel gets his own hour to grandstand tonight. Here's a synopsis, and happy viewing, America!

Tonight, 20/20 takes a look at 10 more popular beliefs. Is it true that strange things happen when the moon is full? Are SUVs safer to drive than cars? Should you avoid swimming after eating? John Stossel puts conventional wisdom to the test in "Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity" tonight at 10 p.m.

1. The title of the show refers to what dribbles out of Stossel's mouth.
He was on the Daily Show recently and John Stewart, who normally is repulsively nice to his wrong wing guests, challenged Stossel on some of his more ludicris pronouncements.

in order to accomodate the breaking news, 20-20 will be airing a special about the Bush administration's handling of pre-9/11 intelligence. it's entitled "Myths, lies, and downright stupidity."
