Have you been polled about Bush or the Iraq war?

I haven't. I'm amazed that these polls are STILL being slung around like manna from heaven to refute that a) it's obvious to even the most casual oberver that Bush is a liar, or b) that casualties in Iraq are taken chunks out of the justifications for this war and c) American people were told we were in imminent danger and still want to have that proven before we make final judgement.

At the very least they could say "In a recent poll taken by this station by someone who'd have rather been at the dentist having a root canal, questions were asked at a Fireworks stand on July fourth regarding Americans' support for President Bush. Four people were asked and all but one said they thought Bush was doing a great job. That means 75% of Americans support Bush.
The three that answered positively were awarded a free case of beer."

Of the above, all we ever hear is "75% of Americans support Bush".

2. A lot of polsters can find you on your cell

I don't understand the methodology exactly but they try to figure all that out. I am somewhat of a ludite, but on my manual, stuck to the wall phone, I occasionally do get calls, but haven't gotten one about the war. Usually the're local. If I remember correctly the last one was about education. I think it's important to answer them because if you don't it skews them against you, but it takes like 10 minutes sometimes.

3. Oh, I definitely would participate in a poll but I never get calls

on my cell from anyone that I haven't given the number to...unless it's a wrong number.

4. an online zogby poll a while back

but I have never in my life had anybody call me on the phone to ask about politics or candidates or anything. Once somebody wanted my feelings on stringcheese though.
