| I just can't get Rummy's comment about targets out of my head |
|
Did he really mean to imply that killing actual terrorists was not as good as dropping bombs on innocent people? His reference to bad and good targets is despicable! Why should we bomb sand and tents when we can bomb power plants, water treatment facilities, and the infrastructure that a people depend on(?) was the message between the lines. Does he get off in some obscene way to images of destruction? This man is truly disturbed! You get the impression that the most important thing he considers in a military action is to create the most destruction so that you can spend the most money rebuilding. I have always wondered why the most damage to Iraq occurred after the Iraqi army surrendered. I recall the lights on in Baghdad as the troops marched in. Now it makes sense.

He is one sick guy. Don't you hate the smart-ass tone of voice he uses. Especially when commenting on death and destruction?

Groucho: "But there is no house next door."
Chico: "No? Well, then let's build one."

Why are you over here under the streetlight?
The light's better here....
Did you catch his remark about not wanting to move against Al Qaeda BEFORE 9/11 because then the 9/11 attacks would have been perceived as retaliation?

Did Rummy REALLY say that? If he really did say that, then he is, in effect, admitting that he and others knew that 9-11 was going to happen before it actually did. That would also explain bu$h and Card's nonchalant behavior in the classroom on that fateful morning.

the more stuff you blow up, the more excuses there are to give your buddies billions to rebuild it all. But instead of rebuilding anything, they sock the money away in offshore accounts and an entire country is decimated in the process. What a business plan?

|
to shoot them at. Money money money is the name of the game for these people.
Plus, there can be no contracts to re-build dusty deserts. Money money money. That's all these bastards care about.

that the current u.s. administration has swept the cumulative wisdom of all our past experience into the landfill, has purposely facilitated the spread of disease and misery among innocent people, and has turned the results of such abuses into war profits for his cronys...

can do lunch. That's what he said at the trial; they met for lunch and maybe a couple of martinis.
Clarke said, the bushie committee was so much in a hurry to attack terrorism that they went on vacation.

| 14. You have to remember, as the Russians said shortly after the |
|
bombing started. Most of these invasions are simply "gun shows" designed to show and sell arms. Think about it. How else are you going to display your wares when the wares are bombs?
