| Guys went to Iraq to have enough money to send kids to college |
|
On the AM news: two American civilians who were in Iraq for the last three months driving trucks because the money was so good and they wanted enough money to send their kids to college. They said the situation is so much worse than what we have been hearing and far worse now than three months ago.
They came back because they said it wasn't worth getting killed over.
So how sad is this, that average Americans have to work in a war zone to have enough money to send their kids to college? What is wrong with this country?

I heard that one guy on NPR. He sounded like he didn't mind having bricks thrown at his windshield a few months ago...$80,000 tax free. But when the RPG's started flying and people with sticks chased him, oops. I must be in what they call a war-torn country. :dunce:
You're right, it is sad and sick. What next? Seniors joining the truck drivers of KBR to help offset their pharmaceutical bills?
