That is, CSpan 1?
Thanks a bunch, Keph! I missed it both times and was despairing that I'd never get to see it.

...in between calls. I'm on the first response, by Kerry. Seeing all the talk about it, I hope I can make it thru the whole thing...

| 5. Wow! Who put a burr up DK's a**? |
|
I mean isn't he just a little too much today? I liked him better when he was a little calmer. Is it he knows he's lost the liberal dems to Dean and now he's trying to be the next Dean?
I mean calm down, buddy, you're among friends. Give this man some meat and a beer.

...yeah, I'd seen the comments about it, but I wasn't expecting this. Should someone tell DK that a tyranny of the left would be almost as bad as a tyranny of the right? Can a President just up and repeal these trade agreements? Can they just pass Executive Orders willy nilly to legislate from the White House?

| 7. He wants to return to bi-lateral trade agreements that would benefit both |
|
countries. For HOW he would do this, check out his site.
He is particularly against NAFTA Chapter 11, which grants corporate investors in all NAFTA countries the right to challenge any local, state, or federal regulations, which, those corporations say, hurt their profits. This cannot be amended, under the current NAFTA. Remember when California wanted to eliminate MTBE because it was polluting their ground water? And a Canadian company howled and sued because their profits would be reduced?
NAFTA is untenable now and will only be more untenable in the future.
