that the idiot * was checking his notes before reciting his answer. I believe I saw a tabbed notebook on the lectern. I'd give my left one to see "the crib book".

Also, Rove, Condi, and Card were all lined up on the sidelines just in case some of the strings got tangled.

Uh-oh, it's the difficult press conference level- better drink more caffiene! Dodge the leading questions, jump to conclusions, drop in reference to the Almighty (100 extra points).
It's the end boss for the level- Helen Thomas! Dodge, dodge! Pull out the Rove- she's in the back row of seats- I've won! Yes, the world is MINE!!!
Just a thought... :)

Tbat he wished that he would of given him the question before hand. Basically * just admitted that the whole darn thing is staged. One thing for sure Bush cannot answer questions on his feet very well.

| 7. and the question... was, I believe, whether W thought any mistakes |

had been made (or with 20/20 hindsight would you do things differently)...
Buth jokes (about wishing he had the question ahead of time) stumbles through the answer sounding as if it never occurred to him to reflect on these past years as to could he have done anything different... and at the end of the question reiterates something about not having the question earlier ...
So he not only admits this is pretty scripted... he then admits that he has never reflected upon his own actions (don't most of us do this pretty regularly?) How embarassing for us as a country.
