Dean--Started out a little rough, but he kept on building, and his final few statements were dead on and expertly delivered. He had some great turns of phrase in those last remarks. When he's on, he's better than anyone but Sharpton.
Sharpton--Not his best appearance, but even an off day for Sharpton is always enchanting to watch. Great opening joke--and fashionably late to boot. Solid as usual, and good line about getting nasty in September (more on that later).
Moseley-Braun--I was pleasantly surprised by her appearance this time around. She seemed more on-target and better spoken than in previous appearances, and had some memorable and well-spoken lines. She didn't impress me in previous forums, but she stood out here.
Kerry--What a shame his voice was shot. Overall, he had the best responses, and thankfully didn't dip into the can for his statements too often. They were great statements, and very ably delivered. I was shocked at the crowd response he received--very positive.
Though Lieberman was the most odious (he was righteously booed on vouchers), Kucinich was the biggest letdown: I just didn't see that coming. Edwards was above average, somewhere amongst Gephardt who was more effective than in previous outings. Graham just wasn't hitting it tonight--he's done better in other appearances.
