Peace and Prosperity. They never change. Those is them. The economy in the shitter and terrorists are bombing big buildings in the US. The federal government needs policies on these issues. 8. It's time for the country to get over 9/11

Using it as an excuse for endless war against anyone we define as a terrorist will not solve our problems. We need to address the root causes of terrorism, not hunt down their leaders and networks like cowboys. I wish Dean had a more sophisticated and nuanced view on these issues.

The people who lost family in 9/11 are not willing to just "Get Over It". We were attacked and we have to protect our citizens. If you had lived anywhere near where the attacks took place believe me you would not want to feel like a sitting duck (on a hill overlooking the Pentagon). What we don't have to do is bomb innocent Muslim victims back to the stone age - but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make protecting our citizens the highest priority. We don't do that now, and that's why Bush should go down.

terrorist "leaders" pose a real threat to America and the world that needs to be dealt with. I'm sickened by Bush and others milking 9/11 for political gain and for them using it as an excuse to invade countries, and I agree that we need to address the root causes of terrorism. But part of the "war" has to involve identifying terrorist leaders and disrupting their activities. If only the idiot in the White House had taken that more seriously, we might've avoided 9/11 altogether.

We need to fix the economy, and the American people won't undertand if he calls the war on terror what it really is, pure rhetoric. He must make it clear that he is going to protect this country and be strong on security. That doesn't mean he's going to invade Iran.

I know there's no such country as "Terror", and thus there can be no "war". The war on drugs is a farce, too. But a campaign run on ending it would go nowhere. He's just using the rhettoric that the masses recognize.
