| Why CA Dems sleep easy tonight |
|
Here is the best play for the DEMS Cruz stays in but does not actively campaign Davis goes savage on Arnold character and competence. and scares the faithful back to the polls. To save the Party for the Terminator. That is Grays's best shot.
Cruz simply states what he is already saying... I support the popularly elected governor of this state. He is simply protecting the interest of the the elecorate in presenting a democratic alternative should the recall be successful.
The Right wing will split between Mclintock and Simon at like 15% a piece. Arnold will get 25% and Cruz should get in the mid 30s and wins only if Grays flamethrowing does not work and he loses the recall question.

| 1. Oh I'll tell you why we're sleeping easy tonight! |

Its because we've all been having Jagermeister shots and we have become invincible. What may seem as inebriation shall be recognized as the cognitive state in which we not only become masters of our fate but also in touch with our vast arrays of super powers.

Must have been in Predator, like Arnold and Jesse. Carl Weathers was in it, wasn't he?

| 7. I don't see Garamendi getting much of the vote... |
|
... Nobody in Cali really gives a shit about him. I can't even figure out why he's considering a run (last I heard, he had only taken out papers, not actually filed).
However, Arianna will likely take some of the more progressive voters, while Cruz will take the Yellow Dogs and much of the Latino vote.
I kinda wish Cruz (and Garamendi) stayed out of it, leaving Arianna as the top progressive choice. I'd much rather have Arianna than a DLCer like Cruz. But I guess she's an independent, and the Dems are looking after their own interests.

| 8. Unfortunately, people are so fed up that they'll vote for anyone who... |
|
wears the mantle of "outsider": Jesse, Arnie, whoever.
I hate like hell to see the Republicans undo another legit election, but it's happening, and they're playing their trump card. If you were a betting person, whom would you lay odds on: Cruz or Arnold?
I wish I had a *single* comforting thought that would help me sleep easy tonight.
