There's an old Wings' song, Give Ireland Back To The Irish, which just needs a little tweaking to match the situation today:

Make Iraq Iraq-ish(?) today

Great Britain, you are tremendous
and nobody knows like me

in that land across the sea

when coming home from work
you were stopped by Iraqi soldiers

would you give in or go beserk?

Great Britain and all its people
say that people must be free
but meanwhile, back in Iraq
there's a man who looks like me

and he's sitting in a prison
and he's feeling really bad
and he dreams of God and country
should he like down, do nothing,
should he give in or go mad?
