Y'all, I just don't get the continual "draft _____________" things. It's not as if the Democratic Party isn't fielding a wealth of candidates, no matter where you are on the spectrum. Someone help me out - why do we need to draft anyone who isn't running?

....find a lot lacking in the choices at the moment. Many people want a Dem ticket that can wipe the political floor with Bush & Co. As for me, I just haven't made up my mind about any of them yet. My ideal ticket would be Gore/Edwards, Gore/Dean, Gore/Kerry, or Gore/Clark. So as you can see I am one who would join one of those "let's draft so and so" groups.

on edit: I just think making fun of someone for advocating such a "draft so and so" movement is counter productive. Flame me for such an opinion if you choose but at the same time pick one or two of from the field and tell me how they stack up against Gore. Now, that would be productive.
