| Did Bush really fall from a bike?? |
|
Last year I fell on asphalt while running. Stumbled over my own feet, I guess. I hit my face on the asphalt, causing scrapes above my top lip (from loose gravel), scrape and bruise on my lower palm where I partially broke the fall, and a broken knee cap. Except for the knee, I had injuries that were apparently similar to Bush's. Maybe he fell while running. I felt awfully stupid and would have been less embarrassed to say that I fell from a bike.
I don't know how he could have been injured like he was from a fall from a bike. But it is hardly something to lie about, right?

If the front wheel stops suddenly for some reason, the back end will flip up.

I took a header from my bike onto asphalt when I applied the brakes too hard. I flew over the handle bars and landed face first. I scraped my inner lip, chin and palms. I can see this happening to * if he was going rapidly downhill and lost control........

I've been telling people all weekend it wasn't a bike. He's got a skeleton and it was that activity he was indulging in. I'm not saying it was drinking maybe he has one that noone is aware of. Maybe Pickles gets physical when she is really pissed. Anyway something happened and I bet it didn't involve a bike and I bet he would lose support from his base if they found out.

Bush is scheduled to make some speech. His caretakers have warned everyone that "he'll be in bandages". So much for training wheels. His media people said that it's been raining pretty hard there (in Crawford) and the dirt has been loosened.
However, on another blogger website, people have actually been checking the weather reports, and there hasn't been any rainfall to speak of. So someone's lying.

and I haven't been paying close attention to the regional weather the last few days, but it's bone dry here and has been for over a week. Crawford is at the dead end of it's rainy season. Sounds like BS to me.

it was very hot and windy all day. If he really rode almost 17 miles on a bike AFTER NOON in this heat, he would at least have a sunburn.

he lies about everything. This is just SOOO suspicious. I think he's either drinking or has a serious medical condition that they don't want people to know about . So they have lame excuses like pretzels and bikes...

the "alleged" accident? Rove would not miss an opportunity like that for a photo-op of the big, brave, manly man. I don't buy it for a second. Something causes bush to consistently scrape and bruise himself, last time it was a pretzel, remember. I am beginning to believe he suffers from seizures.

But what, pray tell, would seizures have to do with scrapes and cuts? I've read all kinds of theories about how BeelzeBush got hurt.
Fill me in, please.

| 17. Here is a description of convulsive seizures... |
|
convulsion sudden, violent, involuntary contraction of the muscles of the body, often accompanied by loss of consciousness. It is not known what causes the abnormal impulses from the brain that result in convulsive seizures, since the disturbance may arise in normal brain tissue as well as in diseased or injured tissue. Convulsions may occur in such conditions as epilepsy, poisoning, high fever (especially in young children), disturbances of calcium or phosphorus metabolism, alkalosis, diabetes, oxygen insufficiency, and a low blood-sugar content, as well as in local irritation or injury of the brain. Persons undergoing convulsions should be guarded against self-injury (see epilepsy). Otherwise, treatment must be directed to the underlying cause.
Certainly one having a convulsive seizure could, to put it crudely, do a face plant resulting in injuries that are shown on bush's face.

As usual, the story doesn't add up. Where are the pics of him on the bike? I'm a mtn. biker, and like any sub-culture out there would have known if * had an interest. First I've heard of it, and it probably would be enough to make me quit the activity. Matter of fact, the MI Mtn. bike bulletin board (www.mmba.org -general section) contains unanimous surprise on this. Not one rider, even the obvious * supporters seemed to know that he was into the sport. Weird.
BUT, kudos to the bike if it is true. Mission Accomplished.
No rain near Crawford according to weather.com for the last couple of days. Hmmn...
Those photos with the bloody holes in the hands? Jeebus...EVERYONE wears fingerless, padded, gloves that protect the hands; second only to the bike helmet in importance. HUGE giveaway, imo.
No sun exposure, just abrasions? Weird. Maybe he 'bonked' out there and choked on a pretzel. Doesn't look like an endo accident to me.
If it is biking related, it appears he's as adept at it as he is everything else. Defies logic, common sense, and (of course) truth.

| 16. He also hurt both knees |
|
I just read this so this means his injuries were very much like mine were, from running. I fell headlong, broke my fall partially with my hand, hurting it; hit on my face, scraping the area beneath my nose on gravel, slightly scraping my nose, and slamming down on my knees, breaking one kneecap.
I don't know if this means anything but it is striking to me because my injuries were so much like his.
It seems if he had flown over the handlebars, enough to clear them, he would have been hurt far worse.
Hmmmmmm

He either started riding a bike without stabilizers for the first time and had fallen off...
OR
He's drinking and banging in to things.

I would definintely agree. I'm a runner too, and have fallen and scraped up the hands. Last year I tripped over a root on a trail, fell and bruised some ribs over the spleen area. Stuff happens fast, and there's usually some logic to follow.
But going over handlebars -- especially while clipped into the pedals -- would complicate things a bit (understatement) making it very unlikely that he would make a three-point landing on his face, hands and knees, at least that's my experience. Man, I don't know if I have enough disbelief to suspend anymore.
It does seem at least plausible that he fell while running and skidded on his knees, face and hands (not necesarrily in that order). If so, that begs the question: Why the mtn. biking tale? Was not aware that there was a big biking demo to play to.
(Ouch! broken kneecap?! hope you're healed!)
