Anyone know why B* Sr. Pushed Clinton at War memorial??

Clinton looked very angry to me, like he was holding back from belting the old man! Seems like the media practically ignored the incident. Anyone know what happened??

It looked like they were exchanging words, then Pappy Bush pushed Clinton hard enough to rock him back on his heels, then both turned away quickly. The only guy with a smile is Pappy's guard/handler/keeper.

My guess is that they exchanged a few words and Pappy Bush was his normal self, a totally rude piece of trash.

The fact that this hasn't been explained in the media should tell you it wasn't friendly.

Clinton came up to Bush friendly and smiling. Bush Sr. smiles back, they get into conversation. Bush shoves Clinton in a "friendly" way - and obviously Clinton didn't take it as all that "friendly".

The both knew that had to maintain civility and Bush went to the publically allowed limit to be hostile to Clinton.

People saying it was friendly or nothing are just fooling themselves, or just doing damage control. Clinton immediately walked away from Bush afterwards. Remember the rumor that they had originally tried to exclude Clinton from the entire memorial?

looked like they were conspirators who were having a hell of a laugh at the goddamn gullible public. I, as much as anyone here, am always ready to stick up for the Big Dog, etc. But.. I watched the clip several times, and watched the secondary players in the drama.. and it was actually a comedy. Poppy was laughing after he did it, as was GW and Clinton as they walked away. And.. the person that was next to Poppy, was also laughing. Also, the guys behind them were laughing. It was all in fun.

Wierd but true. But hey, these guys don't hate each other. They're members of an elite group of living Presidents. GW doesn't deserve to even carry the shoes of the other guys in that exclusive club... but they don't hate each other.

I think sometimes we all walk around thinking that the Bush family is the epitome of evil, that they run children over in the street, and goose widows (the kind of shit the Freepers used to, and still accuse Clinton of). The Bush family is greedy, secretive, ruthless, you name it.. but they are also human. Yes, it's true. I have 3 years here on DU, and 4000 posts under my belt here, so don't think I've gone freeper on you. But sometimes we're just as guilty as FR in thinking in terms of black and white, good and evil, on things. No one is all evil (even Hitler had a dog), and no one is all good. It serves us no purpose to jump on things like this with such righteous indignation. It's really obvious what the clip is all about.

It was a playful moment amongst Presidents. Poppy sure looks frail now.. I wouldn't have recognized him if I didn't know he was in there.
