| Why this "popular wartime president" ratings are just Rovian crap.. |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-13-03 07:16 PM by TruthIsAll
In spite of the fact that the media still whores for Bush and wraps him in teflon, in spite of the fact that many Democratic spines are soft, in spite of the fact that many pollsters are pro-Bush, in spite of the fact that most Americans are unaware of the extent of Bush AWOL, Selection 2000 fraud, 9/11 coverup, Iraq lies, and the Repub voting machine scam...
In spite of all this, Bush's reelect numbers have fallen into the low 40s, and his job ratings are in the 50s. And they are inflated because of all the above. His true numbers must be a helluva lot lower.
THAT should tell us how UNPOPULAR he really is. Despite the efforts of so many in power to prop him up, he just keeps falling anyway, like a stone.
And that's why there is no way he can win in 2004 without resorting to massive fraud or starting pre-emptive wars or LIHOPPING his way to a second term..

There's still a few media whores and right wing pundits that continue to spew this "popular president" crap.
They are only fooling themselves.

just how the hell he can really have these kinds of approval ratings with the country in a bogus war, the stock market in the tank, the economy in the crapper and millions more unemployed than when he was selected for the position. If no one can point out one thing he has done to improve the lot of the average person, who are these 50+%? Thats percent, not 96, why's it look like that?

| 4. Who? They are the ones who pollsters can reach. |
|
They aren't tying up their phone lines looking for the truth on the Internet.

So many people will just accept the imprint of confidently asserted statements that a person would be a fool not to use them. Remain ethical by merely calling attention to the truth, but the truth is devastating.
Class Warfare, that's what the late, grating Lee Atwater suggested was the best way for the Democrats to take the Presidency. We're not fighting Class Warfare, we're fighting AGAINST it. Whenever someone says "Bush said", ask for confirmation; continually slag his "credibility".
Fuck his "faith-based" economy; he's actually trying to sell us on some "truth" that he saved us from a much worse future. Boy, even a snake-oil salesman would have a hard time pulling that off with a straight face.

| 5. Well, he's reduced traffic jams during rush hour... |
|
since 3 million fewer people have to get to work. That would be a good thing, right?
Seriously, though, some people will positively associate a more pleasant commute with bush.
