| Could families sue * for wrongful deaths in Iraq? |
I wonder if some of the families who lost a loved one in Iraq have considered a civil law suit against bush/cheney for sending U.S. troops into war under false pretenses and leading to their loved one's death. If Paula Jones could sue Bill Clinton while President for alleged sexual harrassement, then why not sue the squatter in the white house for the hundreds of U.S. lives lost in a needless war of conquest?

Just a few folks saying things like "military personnel can't sue the president," which misses the point entirely. If it can be shown that shrubya acted irresponsibly, lied to justify invading Iraq, manufactured the evidence, cooked the books, whatever-- then it follows that anyone who died as a result died a wrongful death. | 2. If O.J. Siimpson could be sued by the family of the woman whose |
death he caused, why can't little george be sued by the families of the soldiers whose death he brought on by bringing on a needless war and lying about the immediate danger..
