3. Yes, all cable news stations have...

jumped the shark, the wall to wall coverage has been beyond the pale even for them. Constant footage of old farts bellowing and bawling waiting five hours for a bus to ferret them to the library and the phoney, wannabe yuppies showing up with their young children in tow at three and four o'clock in the morning to circle a flag draped coffin, is tantamount to child abuse in my opinion.

The news story of the day should have been the Ashcroft questioning and the smoking gun of the memos about torture tactics utilized and even sanctioned by this admin. But no, we get the sickening canonization of Raygun. The non stop coverage makes you want to scream at the TV, "Is the SOB still dead today, you mean he didn't rise up and head to the nearest body of water and walk on it so you could be the first to scoop the story?" Pathetic. I can't take it til Friday, I've started tuning into MTV and the Food Network.
