We need to make Reagan's funeral the GOP's Wellstone's memorial

We ought to be complaining about politicizing a death for political gain. Talk about hypocrisy. Where's our chorus of shocked, simply shocked democrats being used for narrow GOP ends?

There isn't much anyone needs to say about it. People get it already.

Also, Wellstone's event was a memorial - not a funeral.

I don't mind the events for Reagan (even though I disagree with him), I mind all the media coverage - of Paula Zahn saying, oh look there is Dan Quayle, we haven't seen him in a long time. If they just showed it on C-Span, it would be fine. It is all the commenting and thoughts and perspectives that are ridiculous - both from the media and from the republicans.

I don't mind tuning in to C-SPAN occasionally; their lack of comment is more honorable to Reagan's memory than the continuous drivel spewing forth from the pundits' slobbering, butt-kissing mouths. I refuse to sit slack-jawed all night in front of the TV watching Freepers in shorts and baseball caps sauntering smilingly around the casket showing Bubba Jr. their hero.

I absolutely could not believe my eyes when I saw what was happening at the Wellstone event, and I still believe it was one of biggest political faux pas in decades.

The pubbies would be brainless to give out the type of ammunition we provided them with, their handlers are smarter than that.

But the second they start saying "win one more for the Gipper" they'll get theirs.
