| We need to start a movement to have Ray Charles put on the $10 bill! |
|
Absolutely, more people would appreciate Ray Charles being commemorated in this fashion than Reagan!

replace the $20 bill, I have no love for Indian butcher Jackson who's oppostion to bank of the United States undid much of the economic stability Hamilton sought to create.

the idea of putting people other than presidents on our currency. Besides Ray Charles, here are some of my other picks:
F. Scott Fitzgerald George Gershwin Woody Guthrie Ernest Hemingway Helen Keller John Muir Jackie Robinson Eleanor Roosevelt John Steinbeck Walt Whitman

| 9. I'd like to see presidents on bills, other prominent Americans on coins. |
|
I think Martin Luther King and Thomas Edison deserve to be commemorated in such a way.

was just carrying on about Barbara Bush & George H. Bush's interview last night. Apparently Barbara (Babs) was asked about Reagan on the $10 bill. Barbara said she thought it was a bad idea, then others would want Martin Luther King, Jr. on a currency! (can you imagine :-0)
Then George H., the brillant rocket scientist that he is (explains G.W.'s brillance) said that only presidents can be on currency.
Guess George H. doesn't use small bills! (Or, Ben Franklin and Hamilton have been promoted without anyone telling the public, which if you think about it, would not be unlike the admin now. They don't follow the law and make things up as they go.)
