What do you see Howard Dean doing if he doesn't get the nominee?

Running for Governor in 2006? Running for Senate in 2006 if Jeffords retires? Being a Vice President? What? I am really not sure, but this is a thought that has had me wondering for a very long time, what are your thoughts on this?

I'm positive he won't run for Governor again, and I don't see him challenging either Pat or Jim. I wouldn't be surprised to see him land in a Dem admin should that happen. I expect he will keep active in national politics.

He has already been governor. If there is a dem president, he will be shelved 'til '12

7. If he has the largest grassroots movement behind him, I doubt he would

lose the nomination, but if that happens, I can see him taking over the DNC, rebuilding the party and helping get the House and Senate in Democratic hands. With the largest grassroots movement behind him, Dean will be a power broker within the Dem Party, whether he is President or not.

Bernie Sanders will run for Senate if Jeffords retires, and HE'LL GET IT IN A LANDSLIDE. Dean could not compete there.

10. Well, short term,

if he doesn't get the nomination I hope he will endorse and support whoever does. I hope Gore will too. We have to get Bush out. After that Dean will have lots of choices.

13. I think it depends on who the nominee is.

He might be a little disappointed if the nominee is Carol Mosley Brown, but as far as I know, I doubt he would be interested in having any of the male candidates.
