| Is Patti Davis Married? Or Have any children? |
|
I know Ron Reagan is married (although I'm not sure if he has children or not), but I don't think Patti is married. Am I wrong? Has she been or does she have any children?

| 3. She had a tubal ligation while she was still in her early twenties |
|
At the time, I recall her saying that she didn't want to continue her parents gene pool; I guess it goes without saying that she felt very bitter towards both her parents, but especially her mother.
A year or so ago an article was published (Harpers? Vanity Fair?) in which she said she regretted her choice (I didn't read the article, just press accounts at the time).

| 4. She wrote a book recently |

something with "Angels" in the title if I remember.
It was pretty sad. It was about how she found religion and is much happier now than she was most of her life.
The part that made me saddest was when she was living in the east (Ct?) and had little contact with her family. She was living with an abusive boyfriend who would beat her up. She wrote how embarrassed she was getting thrown onto the street (or running away - can't remember), but she was so alone, and in such trouble, and not only did she not have anywhere to turn, but she would end up in the National Enquirer with a bruised face. Hard to even imagine living like that.
Anyway, at that point, she found religion, reconnected with her family, and thankfully, was able to help her mother and share her father's last few years. I guess there's been a happy ending, to the chapter at least.
