| The real campaign issue of 2004: Iran |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 01:29 PM by TheFarseer
Iraq is already done. We have to stay until it is over. Nothing can change that now. I think the real issue is what that crazy bastard bush will do next. I just read that Iran is mere months or a year away from nukes. Using bush's criteria for invasion, we are well past due. I don't like Iran having nukes but there's no way in hell we can invade Iran. Do you have any idea how many troops we would lose? The consequences of such an invasion would be at least as bad as Vietnam. The consequences of letting them have nukes are debatable. And why bush invaded Iraq and did nothing about Iran is just mind-boggling. Although, you can bet it's on his short list of wars to fight in 2005. Thoughts?

| 3. If he decides to go into Iran |
|
It will take one hell of alot more troops than they have now. He'll have to start up the draft and they won't be able to stop him, I don't think

Iran and most-likely Syria.
And of course a draft.
