| Poll question: Who will be Bush's VP nominee? |
Given that Cheyney is fly-paper for trouble (energy task force, bribes from Halliburton, Plame affair, lies about Hussein-alQaeda link, lies about WMDs, and on and on...), and could even face indictment in the near future, there's at least a reasonable chance he will become a victim of a suddenly discovered health problem, clearing the slate (sort of) for his Shrubness.

| 1. They asked him to pick the VP and he picked himself. |
He is his own boss. The day he goes down is the day the whole show goes down.

good for Bush because he gains from McCain's perceived credibility and honesty . . . good for McCain because he becomes president when BushCo takes their fall . . . win/win . . .

| 15. 76% of you (so far) are dead WRONG ! The answer is Powell. |
I'm telling you, we've got to start thinking about this as a real possibility. The odds are very strong Scooter will be indicted and Cheyney will be an unindicted co-conspirator. That could happen within the next week. Think about it. Check out this (current) DU thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x1812114

| 16. No...But what about Zell Miller |
Powell has consistently been reluctant to accept anything of the sort. I would say Condi Rice would be more likely, But certainly a moderate Repuke like McCain would have appeal to Bush...Here's a thought for you, how about Zell Miller!
