| Is it important that your government be honest and truthful ? |
|
And that you believe your government will do the moral and right thing when circumstances dictate? Why is it that I have lost all faith with this bunch in the White House? Why is it that George W Bush reminds me of a con-artist - a flim-flam man - who makes Bill Clinton look like man of cloth in comparison? Why do I not believe one word they say? When was the last time they said something that was truthful? Can you remember? Why is it so difficult for them?

administrations that have been particularly truthful with the American people, it's just that this administration collectively tend to be such bad liars; additionally, the things that they are lying about are life and death issues.

| 4. I can handle the little lies. |

They can lie about sex all day long and I don't care. It's lying about why our kids should kill their kids that I won't abide.

John Dean's book is a good read on why administrations become secretive and deceiptful.

| 6. i don't need 100% honesty... |
|
but i do want whoever is in charge to be working in the interests of america and americans, not ceo's,corporations, and those wacky personal agendas.
if they kept an eye on the "rules" that would be great too.
i'm simple and idealistic, i guess...............

I guess I'd allow quite a bit of leeway if the intentions were good...
