Have you seen any pictures of our guys coming back in body bags or have you seen much of their grieving families? There's really nothing to say. This war is tragic for everyone involved and it's only going to get worse. Everyone on this board feels badly about this poor family, but there's not much we can do about it before November.

but it's late, and we're sleepy, and the cycle of blood just never stops.

There is blood in Israel, Congo, the Sudan, Ivory Coast, Indonesia, and just across the river in NYC there was a subway shooting on the news.

The blood simply never stops running, and even when it's early and we are awake, we have no idea how to stop it.

You kill ours, we kill yours, they kill theirs...

Perhaps, just perhaps, with a regime change here we might be able to stop some, just some, of the blood.

5. FWIW, I had nightmares about Kim Sun-il

I had a dreadful feeling when I woke up this morning, and yet was encouraged that he was still alive, until the news was reported on CNN.

I can still hear his words echoing, "My life is important ..."

What greater anguish is there, than to lose a child for no reason?

will not repeat itself. I pray daily, constantly. We can't give up and lose faith. We must keep spreading the word and warning everyone we know. I think they are faltering, feeling the tide shift against them. I am hopeful.

You were wondering why there wasn't more response to this very moving post. It may have something to do with the title of the thread. Unless I have a LOT of extra time, I usually skip threads where the title makes you guess what the thread is about.

I clicked on your thread just now because I happen to have a bit of time, and your title was interesting. But ordinarily, I just ignore the thread titles that don't really give a clue to the subject. There just isn't enough time in the day to follow up every single thread. I imagine most DUers do the same thing.

About the actual post -- thanks. This particular atrocity has not had as much play in the US media as Berg and Johnson. The picture really does bring it home.

And as you say, how many more?. How much more misery will be spread around the world by this insane cabal that has hijacked the power of the USA?

15. I saw that footage and I was absolutely disgusted....

by the bright lights, the house filled with press capturing this awful moment in their lives. I can't believe the family wanted coverage of this. The press treated it like a sporting event:

"Wow, Al-Qaida has won again! let's go to the opposing team's locker room for reaction"

Absolutely disgusting.
