| Anyone see an article about a 24 yr old in charge of the Iraq Stock Market |
|
I read it within the last few days and was arguing with my dad who said he didn't believe it. The article says that the US put a 24 year old American, with no experience, in charge of bringing back the Baghdad Stock Market. I either read it online or in the SP Times and I can't find it anywhere. Did anyone see this?

The new stock market guy must be a true believer of the neo-con fables. That seems to be the only requirement for a job with the junta in IraqNam

So much for the grownups being in charge. In financial markets there's tremendous opportunity for fraud and manipulation. Whoever set the rules for a stock market should be canny, experienced, and beleive in the need for disclosure and regulation. Doesn't sound like the right guy.

This is exactly what I was looking for - and sourced from the WSJ is a bonus.
