| If Bustamante is running neck and neck with Arnold, the recall will fail |
|
why? I've been reading what the freepers are saying, and as much as they hate Davis, they'd rather have him than Bustamante, and Arnold is too moderate to risk having Bustamante for them. So many have said they'll vote NO on the recall if Bustamante has a great chance of winning. If the Dem based remains solid in voting against the recall, it'll fail therefore.
If Bustamante is leading or neck and neck, the wingnuts will vote NO. The recall only succeeds if Arnold has a clear lead or enough Democrats vote to recall Davis to get Bustamante.

| 2. The recall will succeed. Davis is going down! |
|
The only issue is whether Bustamante can replace Davis. The more divided the Republican vote is between Arnold, Simon, and McClintock; the more likely that Bustamante will win the plurality.
Davis's political corpse is in rigor mortis!

I think a lot of people will vote no on principle and because they think it is wrong to try a recall so soon after an election. I think the most probable result will be that Davis will not be recalled and Bustamante will beat the rest of the field, including Arnold. We are experiencing every propaganda trick in the book. Why? Why do they so despise Davis? And who is "they"? "They" are those that wish to destroy Davis because he presented a threat to Big Power and those that call the shots, in my opinion.

| 6. Not a single poll shows Davis beating the recall, not one! |
|
As a matter of fact, the polls continue to show an steady erosion in what little support Davis had.
The only scenario under which Davis may have a chance, albeit a slim one, is if U.S. District Judge Jeremy Fogel goes ahead and postpones the election until much later. A postponement may give Davis some breathing room and some hope that Californians may reconsider recalling him. If Davis had the skills of a Clinton, he could regain the support that he pissed away for so many months. Davis is no Clinton!

| 8. That's what I mean....the polls are the base of their propaganda... |
|
I do put a lot of faith in the polls...especially the ones coming out of California. "Approval rating the lowest it has ever been!" Just heard that on MSNBC... Red flag goes up..

Lastet polls are showing Cruz AHEAD of Arnold. 25% to 22%. Arnold is dropping in the polls and Cruz is gaining steam.

| 9. Next news story will be that "Davis is hurting Bustamante..." |
|
Their primary aim is to get Davis to withdraw. Then they would not have to worry about the "YES" or "NO" vote on the recall...then they think they can win any special election...by hook or crook.
