referred to Michael Moore as a "big fat unshaven bully". Aren't these
rightie droolers just too friggin much? Say one less than flattering
thing about one of them and they cry and play the victim, then accuse
the left of resorting to "the politics of personal destruction" and
name-calling in place of intelligent debate. But these people will
without fail resort to the worst and lowest personal insults at the drop of a hat.
Every time I hear one of these jerks like Dennis Miller etc. speak of Moore, it
always begins with some comment about his weight and includes the word "slob".
Think about it... Michael Moore has reached the pinnacle of his profession and
won the biggest most prestigious awards a film maker can win after starting out
with NOTHING...a shining example of how the average person can acheive the
American dream... the kind of person the ReThugs want us to believe
we all can be... but because he speaks the truth about their puppet-boy he's
demonized as a liar and enemy. Meanwhile Miller has failed at everything he's
ever attempted, Liddy is an ex-con, Limbaugh is a thrice divorced pill-head...
How do these people get to be such sleaze??????

How many times have we called Limbaugh "pig boy" or something similer. We all (on both sides) do this almost all the time now.
Politics has become a contact sport.Moore has done his share of insulting the enemy,and he IS fat.IMO all we can do is suck it up and give it back...or everyone has to play nice. (never happen!)

would we be calling Rush a pig if he didn't instigate it by lying and making outrageous comments about us and ours? In other words... they
always start it. All we do is try to react in kind... fight fire with
fire, etc. I'm reasonably sure that most liberals wouldn't engage in that behavior if it weren't defensive in nature.

I have family members and a couple friends that see what Moore etc says are lies just like we see what Rush says as lies. I just really get tired of all the bad blood on both sides.I used to say reasionable people could disagree and still get along.I think its sad that we can't say that anymore.

Moore and the others on our side are telling the truth about them. They just do it with a bit more finesse than we do sometimes, when we are venting. (Although there are some creative thinkers and excellent writers on DU).

Read Moore's book. He writes about how they never used to be the enemy, just "the other party." So true!
