Notice that we're not allowed to vote for "just right," that the situation in Iraq is exactly as portrayed in the media.
The assumption here is that, one way or the other, the media are getting it wrong.
Such self-awareness is rare these days, huh?

Still at 59% worse. I am new around here, so sorry if this is a silly question, but does anyone "important" (meaning politicians or journalists) really pay attention to those internet polls?

the freepers do! They think they are important.
To answer your question, they are aired from time to time on the cable news network.

"'I do believe the world is a safer place'" - GW Bush, apparently unable to recognize the critical difference between what his dumb ass believes and reality.
Did his stooges forget to fill him in on their having to correct their sunny and optimistic terrorism report?
*sigh*

| 14. The graphic above the poll is very telling... |

"The Struggle For Iraq". If you had shown that to a Freeper a year ago, they would have said it came from some left-leaning news outlet like Democracy Now, not CNN. No matter how hard Bush will try to spin the war, nearly 1,000 American troops are dead, with thousands more injured. People will not stand for this much longer.
As Michael Moore said on the Daily Show last night, "The Man is on his way out."
