That's all * did.. He passed the potato to the unsuspecting Iraqis because he wants the whole thing to disappear under the rug.. The media will probably start trickling back home, and the invisible caskets will still come home, but no one will hear anything except the press releases that flow from Karl Rove's fax machine ..
* has washed his hands of yet another problem he created... someone else will have to clean up after him again..

| 11. Woefully misleading and downright ignorant.... |

One thing that I notice not too many people have brought up is the fact that if we are to believe our administration that sovereignty was handed over to thwart potential terrorist attacks, then how secure is Iraq anyway? If we are having to play hide n seek with the terrorists and our own will, they have already won in Iraq. Furthermore, it could be two days early or two hundred..it doesnt matter with regard to potential threats. Just today a bomb went off and killed 3 marines.
This was "hot potato", nothing more, nothing less. Iraq will continue to suffer attacks, assassinations and other actions of those that have been causing trouble since day one. Sovereignty is not a magic bullet for the Iraqi's, but it is a magical event for the Bush administration as now they can disavow any negative actions that happen from here on out. They will embrace this opportunity and champion any negative events as being out of their control. The problem is, Iraq has never been in our control.
Comparisons of the Left to terrorists are getting old and they border on the obscene in my opinon. Everyone that is offended by this cartoon, should contact "Inside Politics", or the artists employer to express their outrage.
