| For which Democratic party of old does Zell Miller pine? |
|
Does he pine for the old "tax-and-spend" liberal party of the seventies and eighties? Or does he pine for the racist Dixiecrat party of the sixties and before? I mean, really, what is this traitor doing?

| 5. The way Republicans are spending like drunken sailers, it could be either. |
|
Maybe THAT'S why he's now a Republican. He hated the Clinton years of smaller deficits and slow growth in govt spending, and longs for the LBJ years of big new govt spending programs.
Actually, I think it's Dixie.

by the Republican party in its present incarnation. The racist vote has switched allegiance, so why doesn't Zell Miller just get it over with and switch party affiliation?

meaning the less government the better and states rights--in short, the Dixiecrat Democratic party agenda.

You know, the "middle of the road", "centrist", "gotta' have the south", "go slow", "we're not liberals" DemoPub Party, that's not quite as republican as the republicans.
