I just saw the friendly Torres confidently chew up Gibson AND the California RNC chairman at the same time on the O'Reilly Factor. Torres cut them no slack, interrupting them and throwing them of balance a lot. Art also immediately called them on their lies and bullshit on the spot and added a dozen quick and mighty counterattacks to each. On top of it, he looked like he was having fun while doing it!
I've never seen Torres lose a debate, but this was just rich. Gibson looked completely drained. The RNC chairman, crumbling into pieces, looked like he was going to cry.
I wish we could clone this guy one thousand times!

I'm kinda sorry that he isn't running instead of Cruz Bustamante. He is a liberal's liberal, and a great organizer. Sen. Torres is the real reason that Cal is firmly in the Democratic camp: he knows how to get people to work together. In my fantasy President JackSwift White House, Torres is the Chief of Staff. He is that good.
