| Chalabi & INC emulating Bush style in coverup of pre-UN bombing info? |
|
One little snippet of this Associated Press article caught my attention. "Chalabi said the Governing Council had received information Aug. 14 that there would be a terror attack in Baghdad using a truck bomb against ''a soft target'' - not the U.S. military - and that the council had warned the United States. Later, his Iraqi National Congress issued a statement clarifying his comments, saying it did not warn of an imminent attack on the United Nations and ''did not have any specific information related to this criminal act."
Nice of the Iraqi National Congresss to let us all know that he was actually not telling the truth when he said that information which could have saved the UN headquarters had been passed on to the US. He must have confused fantasy with reality.
