That's a derogatory film production term from cinematographers (D.P.s) with the disdain for actors harbored by many in the industry. It's uttered when the lighting is finished and they're ready to bring talent back in for the final rehearsal and shooting.

This guy is not impressive. Fine; he has some personal discipline. So do con men. He's been a star too long, and that usually doesn't help anyone. Like many, he's used to getting exactly what he wants and doesn't have to put up with anything he doesn't. He's used to barking orders and having them obeyed. (Okay, that'll work better as a Republican than a Dem, but it ain't politics...)

My old college roommate (a Bavarian majoring in Physics) used to just refer to him as "a Tyrolian hick".
