Question concerning the "I had an A word or abortion" shirts

What if the pro lifers decided to use those shirts against women by making them wear them for the sake of public mortification if they actually *DID* have an abortion.

1. I read in Buzzflash that Planned Parenthood doesn't really like

the t-shirts. It cheapens the whole issue. I think it's in bad taste myself. Just My opinion.

you imagining that happening? In the right-wing dictatorship that might possibly come about in the future?

There are women who have been fairly pubic with the fact they've had an abortion, some of whom are public figures, some are not.

Besides, it's not as though only feminazis have abortions. The sad fact is something like one in four women will have an abortion at some point, which includes a lot of those who claim to be against abortion, until they themselves have an unplanned, unwanted pregnancy.

3. I meant along the lines of "public shame or mortification" punishments

like if someone tortured their cat or something and a judge sentenced them to carry a sign reading "I TORTURED MY CAT TO DEATH."


I wasn't talking "Handmaid's Tale" dystopia scenario if that's what you're thinking.
