"I strongly caution reporters who may be contacted by or are interested in Mr. Ted Sampley and the various organizations he claims to represent, and his opinions on the subject of Senator Kerry, or any subject for that matter, to investigate thoroughly Mr. Sampley's background and history of spreading outrageous slander and other disreputable behavior before inadvertently lending him or his allegations any credibility.

1. Yes I've read McCain's press release. Interesting that Sampley has it

on his own site. I always send this text to any idiot who brings up Ted Sampley, his site, or any related crapola to try and bash Kerry with. Like, this is your source for this?

Like when Sampley was the guy accusing Kerry of flipping him off at the Vietnam Memorial.

Apparently McCain was a target of Sampley's obssession and hatred long before Kerry even, and Sampley was convicted of (?misdemeanor?) assault against some assistant of McCain's. So... do you think Kerry or Sampley has more credibility in a "your word against mine" scenario?

McCain and Kerry are both veterans of this nut as well as Vietnam.

For the uninitiate, Sampley is a RW wacko who is the head of the veterans against Kerry organization. Nice, reputable folks the Repubs have on their side.
