| The Noise Machine has done a good job of keeping Democrats in line. |
|
It really truly has. They have always warned since day one of this administration that we should be very careful of what we say. Rush and Hannity are out there outtalking all of them, attacking anyone who dares to speak out.
Why should they have the right to tell us to be so careful what we say. Remember the "watch what you say" rhetoric? The "we are at war" rhetoric?
I do. I remember it all very well. I remember an uncle in CA who told me that I should listen to Rush and shut my mouth about this war. He told me that Bush would take care of us, that I was unpatriotic.
My church called us unpatriotic because we said we did not think the church should adopt a pro-war stance.
Yes, they have done an excellent job. Now we are all saying that what Dean said was really true, but that our other Democrats should "distance themselves" from him. That even though it was true, it should not have been said.
One person even said it could cause the terrorists to attack us because they would be mad at the Democrats, or some such convoluted stance.
They have put us properly in our places. We are all cautious now.

| 2. That is one of the primary reasons Goebbels v2.0 was designed |
|
It wasn;t just meant to surround the Imperial Subjects of Amerika with a Lying Virtual Reality to stupefy and disarm them, it was ALSO designed to to the same to the Democratic Leadership in much the same way.
And, yes, it has succeeded brilliantly.

| 6. Correct. I keep looking for change and it keeps not being there |
|
One of the reasons I have been so bumming lately on DU.
The Media is INFINITELY WORSE.
No exit polling but Pravda Lies (AP, who cannot be trusted in the least)
Democratic Response to Goebbels v2.0 is frightened and flinching (ie "lets not make them mad").
A Voting System that Stalin would have LOOOOVED to have.

There is a difference between the nominee distancing himself, and other Democrats doing it.
I am not very happy with them right now. It makes me sad.
