compared to the grilling Little Timmy gives Democrats on MTP. He did call Zell on this canard, but he absolutely let him get away with stating that Kerry (I'm paraphrasing here) voted against the weapons systems that won the Cold War. Let me repeat this again

This statement was stunning enough to almost knock me out of my chair. I didn't know John Kerry had been in the Senate for 45 years! A sane, focused journalist would have stopped Zell right there and called him on his ridiculous hyperbole, but Little Timmy just sat there and nodded, no doubt reflecting on one of Big Russ's lessons (never interrupt a half-mad Georgia senator while he's bloviating)
