| Gotta Love CNN co-opting John Kerry's message to promote their ratings |
|
as well as their upcoming coverage of the Republican Convention.
In the middle of their back patting for their "numbers" (watched by more than any other network during the Democratic Convention), they insert John Kerry emphatically saying "Our best days are yet to come".
And then they plug their coverage of the Republican convention.
Whores.

| 1. Are you sure they had more viewers than CSPAN? |
|
I don't think that's so... aren't they are only comparing themselves with the other commercial networks and not with PBS or CSPAN?

was that there were lots of "#1"'s floating around, some fancy graphics and the impression given that CNN was the most watched network for Convention Coverage.
But that's besides the point. The fact that they took that particular quote from Kerry's speech and used it in what amounts to a campaign ad for CNN - makes me want to extend campaign finance into the world of corporate media.
Used to be you had to worry about the political opposition stealing your message, not the media itself.
