Joe Scarborough Skeptical about threat.
His talking points:

Political operatives want nothing more than to see Bush re-elected.
Terrorism helps Bush.
No new intel.
Media needs to ask questions instead of just accepting info.

:wtf:

He was reasonable at the DNC, too. What's happening to him?

3. i saw scarborough for the first time during the dnc
and i gotta say, he didn't seem that bad to me... seemed like a moderate at best.

perhaps he was just on good behavior with ron reagan, but he wasn't the monster i'd heard he was.

perhaps he's seeing the light?

6. I think you're right
He seemed to be behaving a little better than usual during the convention. Perhaps Ron's being there helped. He's usually a class-A prick!

14. Joe is a funny guy. He's one of the more tolerable repukes..when
he isn't spewing DNC talking points. I've seen him be gracious towards Democrats on a few occasions. When he's being non partisan he's a very good talk show host.

15. That wasn't Scarborough
He was nice during a primary event and when he was out in Hollywood too. When he's on his show, it's a whole other matter. But, Bush really is a disaster and maybe he does care about his kids and his country more than the Republican Party. That's always a possibility.

That surprised me. Lots of talking began today on this topic, and it is a good thing. People now have an opening to discuss it.

5. Doesn't his child have diabetes?

I seem to remember that his young child has diabetes. I think he was interviewing someone about stem cell research and he said he was all for it.

I bet 1/2 these media whores would vote Democratic if they thought their boss wouldn't find out.

May they rot in hell.

11. Yeah, his child does.
Joe is hard to dislike even though he is a jerk quite a lot. I don't think he is a Neo Fascist. Probably a Paleo-Conserv. He has been known to be logical at times. ;)

12. Yes, He Talked About His Son Last Week
Ron Reagan pushed his button on stem cell research by mentioning Joe's son...at first Joe didn't say anything then came back and wanted to talk about the topic. I found that quite an epiphany.

Joey's ranges from wingnut supreme (he hates Michael Moore) to liberatarian (homeland security, unpatriot act, censorship) and then comes out of left field with statements like he made last week where he said he could "sleep at night with Kerry as President"...my jaw almost cracked the floorboard.

I'm sensing the powers at MSGOP are seeing research and focus group data showing a large younger audience (notice all the kids behind Tweety & the entire After Hours concept at the DNC) which their data has to show is far more liberal and not into the knee-jerk knuckle-dragging that goes on at Faux or the corporate shilling that goes on at CNNservative.

9. He may have a brain tumor.
or something.

He has some sort of health problem lately, his face swells and he can't wear contacts.

Anyway remember Lee Atwater? He started speaking the truth when the Grim Reaper was standing at the threshold. Knowing judgment is iminent makes one reflect on the truth.

while CNN seems to think they can win back viewers from Faux by turning themselves into a clone of Fox. Bad move on their part. Scarborough can be reasonable at times but I honestly think he's bi-polar because the next second he'll be off on a right-wing rant of some kind. Still, I've seen him criticize *--he's a lot like Buchanan in that respect.
