I tried and tried relentlessly to get various radio stations to play "New York City Serenade" after 9/11. . . ."so walk tall. . . or baby don't walk at all," to no avail. It's from "The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle," his second album. It the last track. Take a listen if you can. It's extraordinary.

welcome to the fight, bruce. this time, i know our side will win.
i believe bruce springsteen will impact this presidential election more than most could ever imagine or many fear.
i will be watching nightline, and i have already read springsteen's op-ed piece....and have sent it out via email to several of acquaintances who are bush supporters.
