Or are they the ones who sang "Countin' Flowers on the Wall"? I really liked that song.
Weren't they famous in the sixties?

ZZ Top? Nah, probably Oak Ridge Boys. "Flowers on the Wall"? Probably the Statler Bros. is who you're thinking about.

I've been familiar with Larry Gatlin and his brothers for a long time, but I can't name a single tune of theirs.

|
although I have never purchased one of their CD's. I just don't buy that many CD's, but if I wanted one I would buy it - don't believe in boycotting just because of someone's political beliefs. They have a right to their opinion just like I do.

Boycotting for political beliefs is what the other side does. Art (and music) should stand on it's own regardless of the artist's beliefs.

work when he was hanging alot in NYC in the late 70s and early 80s. He was a complete coke pig who was well known for his slide into "experimental" sex with other men.

HA! There is a comparable match. Its like comparing Creme Brulee to Jello. Why not just get Mr. Jingoism T. Patriot himself, Charlie Daniels. I am sure he is having a wet dream about kissing His Chimpiness's ring.

These guys are hacks and has-beens. Larry Gatlin has been pissing people off in the music industry for years. It's a perfect match: and idiot and an asshole.
