Franks on Fox

I turned on Fox at the top of the hour because I wanted to see how they handled the Fox poll results showing Bush's low approval rating. (Not till much later in the broadcast...it's bad news for G.W., right?)

But here is John Fibson interviewing Tommy Franks who is rationalizing all of Bush's lies. Though Egypt has strongly denied it, Franks still says they told him Iraq had WMD. He says there was no way of knowing if Saddam had WMD ... Hey, Tommy, remember the UN inspectors. He said there had to be Iraq-al Qaida connections because Zaqawi has moved so easily into the middle of Iraq to fight Americans ..duh, Tommy. And he claims the "Mission Accomplished" banner was HIS idea. (How noble of him to take a political bullet for 'his president'.)

Thank GOD almighty ... that Tommy Franks is OUT of the U.S. military. If he were still in charge there would be twice as many American casualties!
