| I know someone who knows people who hung out with bush in the late 70s |
|
Why is that interesting? Well the person I know is VERY good friends with some people who were VERY good drinking buddies of his in the late 70s. Apparently this is what bush did back then:
1. Drank a lot (no shocker there). His liquor of choice? Crown Royal over ice.
2. Shacked up in hotel rooms in Odessa and Midland with mid-level (price-wise) hookers.
3. The abortion story is old news here in Texas. I've been hearing it since he was running for governor (around 93 or so).
Now the reason I am posting this is this: why don't these people speak up, especially the prostitutes? Would it be worse for them or bush? Do you think anyone's ever paid hush money to these people?
My friend can NAME the people who hung out and drank with bush and says they don't deny it to this day. My friend is a man in his 50s.
To be believed?
In the interest of full disclosure: my friend is a Kerry supporter and his friends (who hung out with bush) apparently don't claim any direction, politically.

You should ask your friends if they would ever discuss such things with a reporter...Or even better, get Michael Moore...

I don't mean to sound bad, but those kinds (the prostitutes) of people could be "shut up" very easily with NO repercussions.

and that's why we don't hear from ANYONE.
Remember when Clinton was running and people freaking came out of the WOODWORK to smear him from stuff in his past?
Why don't we see that with bush, we ask ourselves? There's more than enough to smear him with.

because someone in Maine had outted bush's DUI right before the election! Accusing him of having something to do with it! No wonder Gore didn't want a rehash of that again and thought it would be better for the Country!

Undoubtedly. The Imperial Family are some murdering fucks, no doubt.
Anyone who tries to speak up and isn't in the public eye will be killed by the Bush Private ex-Spook Army.

should they need extra cash. Word is * paid off the best friend of the woman that had the abortion. She was making $13k a year and had plans on going public with what she knew and then all of the sudden, she is living in a huge, expensive home and is living quite well.
Money can't buy happiness, but it is needed to pay the bills, so sometimes it buys silence.

We, here at DU, don't really "have" anything on him*. But if I did...if I actually had the goods..I'd be very reluctant to come out with it. These people play hardball. They are gutter fighters who whould not even have second thoughts about ruining you financially or worse.

fly to Houston to entertain his good friends. A certain dictatortot was among those being entertained.
There are stories in SC about Atwater, Rove and the son of Bush who traveled around SC by car throughout the 70s and 80s with lots of coke and lots of strippers and hookers. The ladies were fairly wellpaid. Good use of campaign funds, eh?

And there are people, alive today in TX, who were THERE and could go into great detail about it.
But apparently don't. And I think it's a shame.

I agree with Shrub on point #1. My liquor of choice is also Crown Royal over ice (not that I drink as much as shrub use to)! Then again it is the one thing that he is expert at, so I guess it should come as no great surprise. ;-)

you could get statements from anyone, even if it's anonymous, kind of like a deep throat type of thing, you should. Eventually, if you collect enough of this type of stuff, someone might be interested in publishing it. I'm sure Larry Flynt would be interested or even Howard Stern. You need a lot of it and it has to be compelling and within the realm of possiblity.

in fact when my friend was telling me, he told me stuff in such great detail, I thought, "My GOD, you couldn't MAKE this shit up."
And it totally fit his M.O. back then, too.
But his friends are totally scared to say anything. They've made him swear if he tells other people that he knows people who witnessed this stuff, he CANNOT disclose their names. And he won't, I asked him.

apparently between 1977 and 1980, bush could snort coke like a fiend. The people who hung out with him always laughed and made jokes about how good he was at it.

The answer would be "But, he is a born again Christian". My aunt actually said that to me last week. I laughed, and she looked at me with a look of disgust. It might change a few people's votes, but I have a feeling that his born again status has given him some elbow room. Now, if that abortion claim can be brought to light, it might sway some die-hards.

there is money to be paid to those who would speak. If I had the goods, I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing I could take him out and wouldn't do it because I'm scaredy-scaredy. Dang, all the dead kids he's racking up, and there is someone out there who could very possibly bring an end to it? Oh, man, get some huevos!

years before he ran for Governor. You know how prostitutes end up dead, they have no family who misses them and POOF! They're gone! If any ARE alive....
Call Larry Flynt! He could offer some $$$$ reward for any prostitute to come forward. It worked for Livingstone (? I think that's his name). Remember when he was going to be the new House Speaker and Flynt exposed his affair? That was so sweeeet! Then Flynt had garbage on Henry Hyde, Bob Barr, Burton....Where's Flynt when we need him?
