legislators with hateful emails begging and pleading for the woman's life. The legislators thought it was their loyal constituents who felt so strongly, so many of them voted with Jeb to keep her alive. Then later their constituents started calling and writing them outraged over their votes and they were horrified that "outsiders" had influenced their votes. One of the big repug senators down state was very sorry.
