| Does Ken Lay want a "speedy" trial? |
|
I thought I heard on the radio either late last night or early this morning that Ken Lay wants a quick trial. He wants a separate trial from the other Enron co-conspirators, and he wants it fast.
I was half asleep so I might have heard something incorrectly, but I remember wondering if he might think George W. Bush is going to lose in November and he doesn't want his trial to continue over into a Kerry administration for fear a "guilty" verdict will mean "no pardon."
Did anyone else hear this, or was I just "dreaming?" :boring:

| 2. It better be damn speedy for him to get his "Pardon" |
|
 I just cannot fathom why Americans are so stupid. Why they would allow this Cabal of Thugs to do to America what is being done. Rape and Pillage of the highest order.

| 3. He doesn't want to go in front of a jury |
|
If he has a "speedy" trial and just appears in front of a judge (as he is pushing to do) he stands a better chance of getting a slap on the wrist...a jury will hang his ass.

Ken Lay? I don't think I know... well, the name is SORT of familiar. Maybe I met him at a rope line or something. I dunno...
