"The president's sermonizing about individual responsibility is irritating, especially since he is the poster boy for the bailout of individual failure by family wealth, name and influence." Check them out: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/editorial/2731251

"Bush is not despised because he is an over-privileged mediocrity, but because he is despicable."

Bible debate still not settled
Judicial activism running amok U.S. District Judge Sim Lake's ruling that the monument outside of the Harris County Civil Courts Building must be removed was disappointing. The First Amendment to the Constitution clearly states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion ... " This monument was not installed by Congress, was not mandated by any law nor establishes any national religion. This is just another example of judicial activism run amok.
CHRISTOPHER TELSCHOW Katy
HEhe it makes me smile when Fundies get upset about "judicial activism." I'll bet he didn't bother to check that Lake is a Raygun judge.

It made me wonder what planet Gary Alan Fine currently inhabits. My favorite comment was his assertion that the Bush administration has had "no scandals." Really? None?
