This Republicon asshole on another site told me he was going to haunt and mock any and every post I make, and stated that I am a "fuckin retard" for having an opinion that differs with is...

This guy hates liberals, insults us, harasses us,the guy never quits.I could ignore his ass for months and this dude will still bait me to argue with him...

And then there is his partner in crime...she posts things with no soucers to back her up, makes huge generelazations, has to have the last word on everything, etc...

She has to be the one who is right, and when prove her wrong, she twists and backpeddles to make you look bad...then the other asshole starts in you...

These twits must dominate every discussion, anyone who differ's from their opinion, is slammed hard by the one and baited by the other...

What is it with these people, I just don't get it...I have an opinion, I have the right to say what I want to say, and about who I say it about...! 5. Pull an Al Franken

Use a standard response you can basically cut and paste - make it polite yet mocking. In case you haven't read it, I'll quote.

In response to "Saw you on Donahue with your liberal shit. Blow it out your ass, dickhead!"

He emailed "Thank you for your kind email regarding my appearance on Donahue. As you can imagine, I've received so many positive responses that I cannot possibly answer them all personally. But, once again, thank you for your kind remarks."

He repeats this exactly after another email from the guy. Then, the guy emails "Franken,you're a joke!'

To which Franken responds, "Thank you for your kind email regarding my jokes. As you can imagine, I receive so many positive emails regarding my jokes that I cannot possibly answer them all. But, once again, thank you for your kind remarks regarding my jokes."

Come up with your own, and change it slightly to suit your needs. It will make you feel better, it will piss them off, you won't have to sink to their level, and eventually they will probably stop because you're just no fun. Above all, DO NOT try to reason with people like that. It's a waste of time.

7. Why let them get to you?

The point is not to get the last word in or win the argument. That just can't be done with people who have too much energy for this sort of thing. Face it, nobody ever backs down in an argument-- we're just not built that way. And being online anonymously just makes it worse.

Flame wars are fun, but simply show who is best at creating insults without fear of getting his teeth knocked out.

If there's any point to be made at all, it's to the jury-- the rest of the board or froup. Trust me on this, the vast majority on any board doesn't want to get into the middle of a shitstorm, but will agree with the most reasonable point of view. They just won't bother to tell you that they think you're right.

If you must enter the fray, simply reply with logic and facts and let them flame and stew away. Rest easy in the knowledge that they are losing their war.

8. It's a game to them.

Until they have to deal with the actual consequences of the policies, it will remain a game. As you dislike their ideas and life philosophy, so they they hate ours. The could care less about the contradictions that this administration makes everyday, violating the political values of conservatism...what's important is that liberals dispise Bush, so they must be on the other side of the equation...they define themselves by being opposite of whatever a liberal person believes.

Look at it this way....the Freepers are small minded people who need to hate someone in order to justify their existance. The fact that they can support the most corrupt and criminal administration in this country's existence tells me that really don't have a moral/political/ethical compass that works.

The good news is that the cesspool is evaporating rapidly...they are losing the war of minds. As the pool recedes, only those that can wallow in the stink will remain. As their numbers dwindle, only the racists, homophobes, and religious wackjobs will remain to entertain each other.
