| Bush: America better off with his leadership |
|
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- President Bush said Thursday that America is "absolutely" better off today than it was four years ago -- on both the national security and domestic fronts. "The world's safer. ... Libya's no longer a threat. Pakistan is an ally in the war on terror," Bush said in an exclusive interview on CNN's "Larry King Live." http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/12/bush.lkl/index.html

| 2. Absolutely better off................ |
|
than we were 4 years ago, huh? I think VERY few people would agree with him on that point. Only the most rabid, brain dead Bush sycophant could agree with that statement.

| 6. Let's see - 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11...nice leadership George. |

We are in an illegal war, 935 Americans killed in Iraq - way to go Mr. Resident. How many maimed and crippled? Al Qaeda membership is at an all time high - the entire world detests America - another thumbs up for the Bu$h cabal. Record national debt - just spiffy. Gas prices hovering around record highs - another plus for Bu$h. Stock market is dropping like a stone - yuh, that's good too. Record numbers of Americans have no health insurance, well, population control I guess. The price of prescription drugs is forcing seniors to go to Canada and Mexico to buy their medicine - I guess Bu$h figures it's a good way to stimulate the tourist industry. The cost of higher education has skyrocketed - well, who want's our kids to be educated anyway. Air and water quality is declining and the environment is being trashed because of Bu$h lifting pollution controls. What is it now - somewhere between 2 and 3 million jobs lost since Bu$h took office? Hey, at least the roadsides are clean because of all the people picking up aluminum cans so they can afford a can of tuna. Personal bankruptcies are at an all time high. The nation is more divided than it has ever been since the civil war. We now have Homeland Security and the Patriot Act, every week we are being warned that we are not safe because there is a new "threat" of terrorist attack, and lost more civil liberties in the last 3 1/2 years than in the last 40 years.
I could go on and on, but there is no point. Bu$h wasn't even fucking elected, and his mis-leadership has taken this country down the tubes in every way possible. "Old AWOL" having the gall to say that America is better off with his leadership is a sure sign that he has psychotic delusions.
Bu$h sucks. He is, in light of every fact and in every aspect, by far the worst pResident the US has ever had.
How I miss the safety, security, prosperity, and sanity of the Clinton years. Life was good then. My country did not live in fear and poverty.
Bu$h has not done a GD thing that has been good for America.
